Your privacy on Decoded

Decoded is a small, independent podcast and a free classroom. We collect as little as we can. There are no accounts to create, nothing to sign up for, and we do not sell or share your personal information.

A few small preferences are saved in your own browser using local storage: your light or dark theme choice, and your progress on Classroom activities such as the deep thinking challenge. This information stays on your device. It is never sent to us, and it is not shared with anyone. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Episodes load from our podcast RSS feed. When you play an episode through an embedded player, or follow a link to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, LinkedIn, or an event registration page, that service runs under its own privacy policy, not ours.

Like any website, the service that hosts Decoded may keep standard technical logs (for example, requests and rough location by region) to keep the site running and secure. We do not use these to identify individual visitors.

If you write to one of our email addresses, we use your message and address only to reply and to follow up on what you wrote about. We do not add you to any list.

Decoded is made largely by and for students. Because the site asks for no personal information and requires no account, there is nothing for a young reader to submit here. If you are a parent or teacher with a question, please get in touch.

We may update this policy as the site grows. When we make a meaningful change, we will update the date below.
