Head of the Newsletter · Editor-in-Chief
Anya B. is Decoded's Head of the Newsletter and its Editor-in-Chief.
She has spent two years in the independent literary magazine community. For over a year she has been an Executive and Editor at The Serendipity Archives, and she is the Marketing Head for Glossary, a student blog on politics, philosophy, and sociology. She writes as well as edits: a staff writer at Terra Arcana, a contributor to magazines, and an assistant to Eden Review and Racer's Club, alongside her own poetry.
She is also a graphic designer, and has shaped the look of numerous publications, among them The Neowise Magazine, Midnight Variety Magazine, The Pulso Frequency, The Underground Network, and Project BDH. She likes tailoring each design to the publication it belongs to and figuring out the aesthetic as she goes.
Based in South Asia and studying the IB Diploma, she is drawn to cybersecurity and computer science, an interest sparked at Ashoka University's Young Scholars Program, and is currently researching the intersection between weaving and computation. At Decoded she leads the newsletter, and she is always glad to hear from people who want to write, design, or collaborate.
